Shanghai Wentong Chemicals Co., Ltd. (Wentong Group) is one of the
largest manufacturer of potassium carbonate and a large producer of
potassium nitrate in China.



Our company bears a history of 50 years. Like many other Chinese
enterprises, we grow up along with the construction of the country
and develop promptly in China's reforming and opening up to the
outside world. The predecessor of our group, Shanxi Wenshui
Chemical Factory and Shanxi Wentong Potassium Salt Co., Ltd.,
comparatively early and completely transferred from a state-owned
enterprise to a stock-joint company with a modern enterprise
system. Relying on the advantages in system, technique and culture,
and exceptional coal resource, we moved out from Wenshui County of
Shanxi Province to Taiyuan - the provincial capital city of Shanxi,
and then setted in Pudong New District of Shanghai.
